I was going through some old emails that got pushed to the side on a plane recently and noticed this one from them:
Titled “The Annual Report is here” – I was more than intrigued. When my plane landed, I clicked on the link in the email and was impressed and amused and even more proud of my “one pair of glasses” relationship with Warby Parker.
I’ve attached a few screen shots, but I was really amazed that they made it all about the client, all about their team, and all about the innovation they are making in their industry and their company. And, I have to tell you, it was awesomely personal, hilarious, and made me WANT TO DO more business with them.
I rarely stumble upon a company that impresses me at every turn. Warby Parker is one of them. I’m sure they have their stumbles and mishaps and mistakes – every business does – but they have chosen to make the customer experience paramount and there is no doubt that is expressed all over their offices and infiltrates through the culture of their team building and training. Makes me want to visit their HQ sometime and see it more in action than I already have as a customer.
Check them out. Trust me, I think you’ll enjoy yourself.
I also want to say – I don’t write this because I have any relationship with Warby Parker other than ordering one pair of glasses from them last year. That’s not my style to write about a stellar company because they are friends or clients or anything like that. My guess: if you do business with them, you’ll be just as impressed as I have been.
