Several months ago, I received an email from TOCA (Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association) about a scholarship they were offering to Green Industry students who are pursuing a degree in Communications. Since it was wayyyyyy before the deadline, I wanted to wait until now to post it – my hope is that someone out there who has a passion for both the Green Industry AND Communications would be a well-deserved recipient!
The criteria and information, directly from the application is as follows:
The Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association will award one $2,500 fall semester scholarship (2013-2014 academic year,) to undergraduate college students pursuing a career in green industry communications such as but not limited to careers working for trade publications, newsletters or companies/marketing agencies that promote the golf course, lawn and landscape, sod and nursery/greenhouse maintenance industries.
